Default Game meat processing in Tallahassee?

I am new to hunting in Tallahassee and wanted to know if there was any place in town that I could take a deer or hog to have the meat processed (skinned, butchered, etc).

I realize this is a rookie question, as I should know how to do these things, but I just recently took up hunting and have never had any instruction as to how to properly skin and quarter a game animal.

    Any recommendations would be appreciated.

Johnstons Locker Plant on 90 in Monticello and Limestone Meat in Wacissa used to do full processing. If you're hunting east of town they aren't too far.

Ive heard nothing but great things about the guy who runs it and if he's a friend and a partner of Franks than I would feel comfortable doing business with him.

Cant seem to be able to find his number but you can call Frank at Coonbottom (850) 539-0293

I appreciate the input so far. Coon Bottom is in Havana, correct? I will be hunting both east and west of town this year, depending on the season, so I suppose that will dictate which place I end up going to, assuming things are successful.

Yes....there's several ways to get there (it's just east of Havana).

You can take 27N into Havana & turn right at the 1st light, or you can go up Capital Circle NW...at the light for 27N continue straight across. Once you cross the Ochlocknee River bridge, take the first right.
Caution light at the Hwy 12 crossroad is 'downtown' Coonbottom.

Or come from 319 (Thomasville rd) just below the state line, run Hwy 12 west, dogleg across Meridian Rd, cross the river, then end up at that same caution/crossroad.

Ya frank and his establishment is the one of the best kept secrets around.

I've hung out at the dear processing place and he showed me around. Pretty cool stuff and everyone knows exactly what they are doing.

For the last two years once hunting season opens the guy who runs the processing unit will be there 24/7 until the season closes.
