Yes, but you still have to follow the federal NFA guidelines.

sure if you want to be on the BATF shortlist and get "visits" from time to time...the sheriff signs the form 4 in leon county fairly quickly from those I know who have gone through the process...personally I dont like the idea of the Feds coming to my house and having the "right" to inspect my firearms...

you are quite correct I am wrong...they can only demand (legally) that you produce your form 4 without a warrant...sorry to confuse :-( though I still dont like the idea of being in their NFA registry...being in the bound book at a dealer is bad enough, that is effectively a list of firearms and owners....

Sorry once again. They can't do that unless you're out and about with the C3 item, and then any LEO can demand to see the Form.

You're worring about a problem that just does not exist. I've been buying and selling guns for about 40 years and most of that time have also been buying and selling all types of C3. You need to relax and enjoy the toys.

You worry about the bound book and not the 4473? There again, you worry about a problem that does not exist.

They are suppressors, not "silencers" to be correct. And yes, they are legal to own and use on a "per suppressor" basis. You pay a BATF tax stamp fee, a one time charge, per suppressor.
The 2A wasn’t meant to allow public citizens to keep and bear arms. If it had there would have been wording such as 'The right of the People to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed.' -Ken Konecki

Actually the legal term and the name ATF uses is silencer. It's the term used on Form 1's and Form 4's.
