Default 10/22 scope mount instructions???

I got these weaver 1 in see thru scope mounts for my 10/22 and there are no instructions for installation. since i have never done this before I need some help. Could somebody post pictures of the installation showing orientation and which screw holes to use. they mount directly on receiver. thanks for any help. i would be interested in selling these for what i paid $10. and getting the regular scope rings that use the ruger scope mount that came with the rifle.

There should be 4 screw holes (with protective screws) all ready on the gun - just unscrew them. You can see by the 2 base plates that they are different sizes. Hope this helps.

the holes in the scope mounts don't line up with the front mount holes on the gun. the screws are wrong thread too. the scope mounts themselves are different. looks like 2 different mounts for 2 different guns.
I got a scope mount off Mike (TallyXD)a long time ago. it lines up fine so i installed it on the rifle. i will just get some scope rings from walmart for it.
i was going to take the rifle to the range tomorrow to have it sighted in.........so much for that idea.
I'm going to play Galaga,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,

thanks for the picture. it tells me all i need to know. orientation of scope mounts.

I found the instructions inside the picture. .DUH! my bad. will try some more

The mounts were mispackaged so i took them back to Walmart and got a store credit. I think i'd rather have the regular mounts anyways so no big deal. noleveyor offered to take them back but i did it myself and came out a few dollars to the good!!!
thanks for your help. this is a great forum for a dummy gun nut like me.

There should be sets of rings for those in both the Weaver style and the Redfield dovetail style. The weavers will be MUCH easier to install and line up.
